Yes yes yes...Its been a while. Things have happened. Work has picked up. And unfortunately, its been tricky getting the time to sit there and actually finish this off...so I hope everyone can forgive me for this pictures late coming.
Back onto topic though. Next Vampire Clan up to be represented is Clan Tremere. On a personal side, this was somewhat...er...touchy to do. You see...(no offence to other roleplayers) but most of the people I know that DO roleplay VotM
and play as Tremere characters also happen to be nit pickers. I was quite certain that somewhere somehow in this piece they would find something to correct for me. That aside, this piece is of my representation of a member of Clan Tremere. Originally human mages, they sought after and dabbled in the power of immortality. I don't want to spew out history here, but they thought they had eventually found it - infact, they had been cursed with vampirism.
Their basing as mages has given them a greater power over the arcane and eldritch art that they have uncovered. From capturing other vampires and twisting them into "gargoyles", all the way into having their own art of "blood magic" that can literally make ones blood boil. I saw them as secretive - living in their own chantrys and keeping to their own studys. I tried to portray this in this piece, with an underground chamber. The clothing is not particularily discreet...but that tied in with the fact that they keep to themselves and most of the time, keep within their havens.
Damn man, that's so good. Really nice pose and colouring, great attention to detail as usual. I like the ominous background. I wouldn't mind her boiling my blood...haha
This is an insane piece man! Those colors, that lighting, that lineart! That pose! UGH X.X amazing!
The only critique I might have is that she doesn't remotely seem like a vampire at any point. And that is IT. Amazing dude!
I am speechless. I have no words.
This is amazing. The coloring is beautiful, and the lineart...gah! Like, WOW!!!! Her expression and pose are totally believable, and the light effects and secondary light sources .... no words.
Hehehe...Thanks very much for all that great comment man! I'm glad you brought about the Vampire thing so I could get a chance to explain myself ( I try not to mention these kinds of things in the descrip. because some people just jump on it)...I've been trying to distance myself from the traditional representation of a vampire (eg. teeth) and focus more on the actual differences that set the different clans apart.
That being said, I do plan on putting some fangs in future Clan pieces! So long as it applys
Thanks again man!

Hot. Nicely done, the anatomy's wonderful, and you pulled off her nonchalant busy way of studying as she's kicking as with craft. You always make me happy when you upload.

Hey man, yer welcome! Twas no problem at all. And I understand about the tiny details... but still, she's a vampire... there are some trademarks, like pale skin and things, that ya can't leave out. Fangs, hmzkay, so she has her mouth closed But you could have made it clear in other parts.
Exactly! Thats what I was trying to portray in this piece. She's devised a new technique and shes attempting to put to use for the first time...in a ritual chamber-like area. I'm so glad you liked it!
And most of all, the fact that it makes you happy is a very nice thing to say.
Thanks very much
