AKA "Orochimaru - Alpha Serpentis"

People that watch me or know me, may just faint in disbelief upon seeing this Deviation...
I *ACTUALLY* DID LINEART *AND* COLOURED IT COMPLETELY!

This was is the final result of my first attempt at lining and colouring with a digital tablet.
For people who don't recognize the character, it is Orochimaru...the Legendary Sannin and leader of the Sound Ninja.
For people who don't know the anime series Naruto, this is a fanart piece and it is not my character! Alot of people that have seen the rough seem to think he's mine! I wish!

I usually tend to stay away from Fanart, but it is very much a therapeutic ritual in the long run...it helped me alot through this hard time I kid you not! I did want to try my tablet, but Orochimaru is also a favourite anime character of mine. His sheer unusual appearance, voice and strange techniques really caught my heart. Like I said, Naruto is a very good anime but I don't put any anime at the top of my favourite list.

Thanks alot to my parents for the tablet, Kitty-cat-angel for helping me with suggestions,colouring (which is new to me) and reassurance (you have no idea how many hands I had to draw first *sob*), and also to Itachi for getting me this great anime!

I'm surprised by the amount of comments already! and faves!!
You know, the right arm bugged me riiiight in the beginning, but the next time I looked at it, it seemed fine...

If it looks stretched atleast I have something to back it up....this character has a knack of stretching parts of his body...like his neck!

Ah...the prehensile tongue...it was on the plans, but I chose not to do it in the end. I especially like his sword swallowing skills ;)

Nice Matto! I see you got the technique right with colour, glad you finally figured it out XD I thought you were gonna do scales on the snakes? Doesn't matter, still looks lekker.

NICE! The snakes are so very well coloured, as the colours show muscle tone. Groovy textures, and I very much like teh crumbling symbol at the back.
